Consulting Services – This team provides strategic guidance to clients, helping them identify their business requirements, evaluate technology options, and develop tailored solutions.

Project Management – Our experienced team (Prince 2 & PMP qualified) oversee the implementation and delivery of telecommunications projects, ensuring timely completion, adherence to quality standards, and effective communication with stakeholders.

Solution Architects – These professionals design and optimize network infrastructure, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance. They collaborate closely with you to align solutions with your specific needs.

Deployment – Our amazing team of engineers are responsible for integrating new technology solutions into existing infrastructure, managing installations, configuring networks, and conducting thorough testing and troubleshooting and only when you are 100% happy do we sign off this phase.

Training – Once the solution is deployed our Trainers ensure that every member of your staff is comfortable and proficient in its features and how to get the most out of the systems.

Support/Help Desk – Our Network Operations Centre (NOC) is fully operational 24/7/365. We don’t run an answering service whereby an external source has to then chase on call engineers, you will be answered and dealt with immediately by the Engineers direct. All of this is delivered and managed under ISO9001, 27001 & 22301!

About Planet Telecom

Having been in the world of telecoms for 30 years, I have seen a lot of changes, most of it for the better. Voice and data solutions have become so agile and flexible with the ability to work from anywhere and drive huge efficiencies and real tangible benefits. It really has, and continues to be, a journey of constant evolution. It’s what I love most about this industry.

So, if I set up a new technology company, I wanted to make sure we were built to be as dynamic and flexible as the solutions we provide and to create a culture that allowed our colleagues to react with speed, confidence, and accuracy. So as a guide we adhere to a key set of principals so that our staff, suppliers and, most importantly, our customers know exactly what to expect and how we will conduct ourselves.

Those three pillars, the foundation of our business, are:

Be Customer-obsessed – we have so often found that in this market of mass consolidation and a drive to commoditise unified communications, the one element that gets neglected as a result is you, the customer. This has always frustrated me, and I was determined to ensure that at Planet, the customer will always be at the centre of everything we do and every decision we make. Every member of the team, regardless of their role has the same first line in their job description: ‘love the customer’! If I have learned anything over the last 30 years, it’s that if we are true to our customer-first approach, the rest will fall into place. We want our clients to stay with us because they want to, not because they have to.

Simplicity – as technology becomes more advanced this doesn’t mean it should become more complicated. It’s not clever to bamboozle the customer in technical jargon and complex applications, this just complicates and bogs down the process which often leads to frustration, additional costs, and slower return on investment. We pride ourselves on our ability to listen and truly understand the customer’s requirements, navigate them through the options available and deliver a fuss free, perfect fit solution, every time.

Sustainability – we feel it is essential as a business to respect the environment and leave a positive impression on it. Where we are unable to reduce emissions ourselves, we will look to offset, only as a last resort. Our offsetting strategy intends to be well researched, using only certified Gold Standard initiatives that, as much as possible, supports our purpose and values.

To ensure accurate measurement and reporting of our carbon footprint, we are working closely with our external expert to establish robust carbon reporting mechanisms. By collecting and analysing data related to our emissions, we will be able to identify areas of improvement and track our progress over time.
